Book Brenda Neckvatal

Brenda is an experienced practicing Human Resource professional and business consultant with vast experience spanning 30 years. She has experience working for five Fortune 500 corporations, consulted over 350 c-suite executives, and led the reformation of HR infrastructure within 250 small businesses. Today’s result is a highly diverse business background, exposing her to major industries of commerce. She is a specialist in government contracting compliance and has a deep understanding of the small business mindset.

She pursued her education in a very unconventional manor by engaging in business and work life balance first. Prior to earning her Bachelors Degree from the University of Richmond in 2009, she was diagnosed as dyslexic and identified means to help her transform from a C, D, F student into a Magna Cum Laude graduate. She continued her educational pursuits, earning her Masters in Business Administration from Capella University in 2013.

In 2016 she pursued a volunteer position as an Executive Coach with The Honor Foundation and established a solid reputation in the SEAL community. As she continued finding other opportunities to volunteer and serve as an individual contributor, she became keenly aware that SEALs struggled with obtaining a basic foundation of business acumen and the business world in general. She started Phase II in January 2017, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides pro bono business consulting, executive coaching, and wellness support to SEALs and SWCC.

Her journey exposed her to the varying physical and neurological needs of these elite combat veterans, and was invited to become a member of the Veteran Wellness Center Board of Directors. Through this relationship, she has begun to bring awareness of Americans with Disabilities Act in the civilian workplace (post NSW career) and naturopathic treatments to the Naval Special Warfare community. She continues to find new opportunities to share these highly effective programs to those in need.

Brenda was instrumental in assisting me with the development of organizational and human resource policy and procedure. “

As the new President of a private equity acquired business with close to a hundred employees, Brenda was instrumental in assisting me with the development of organizational and human resource policy and procedure. Most importantly, she was key to the design and implementation of an employee performance assessment program where none had previously existed. Her depth of knowledge in this area was invaluable. Without which it might have taken years to develop and implement where it literally took only months. She is a joy to work with because she values people, honesty and relationships. Her knowledge in this area is second to none and I would strongly recommend her as a business partner, mentor and friend.

“She can see the value in others and the vision of the futuristic big picture.”

Brenda is a very successful leader with strong skills in planning, motivating, coaching, and measuring the work of others. She can see the value in others and the vision of the futuristic big picture. I have worked with Brenda on several projects and admire her dedication to her team and her customers. She values the education and development of her team. She is a functional leader that knows how to adapt to any situation.
