Teddy Daniels is a national media contributor and entrepreneur. Teddy has elevated himself in every aspect of his life since he was young. He earned a full athletic scholarship to West Virginia University where he was a starting guard for the Mountaineer football team. From there he spent over a decade in law enforcement where he worked narcotics, special weapons and was a defensive tactics instructor. Teddy left law enforcement as a Deputy Chief of Police. At 35 years old, Teddy enlisted active duty Army Infantry and attended his grueling training at 36 years old at Ft. Benning GA. At 37, he was shot several times in Afghanistan where his helmet cam captured the firefight. Teddy has endured several dozen surgeries and fought the VA over them wanting to amputate his leg. Teddy does not consider himself disabled but rather “combat wounded”. He is highly decorated and is the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantry Badge.
At 38 years old while recovering from his injuries at Ft. Carson Colorado, with no business background, Teddy started a company with $5,000, did an IPO and took it public in less than 8 months. Once public, his company had a market cap of 44 million dollars. Teddy’s business was featured in Playboy Magazine, Inc, the CBS Morning Show, CNBC, HBO Vice and others. He sold his interest in that company and moved back east starting yet another company. That company was acquired in less than 18 months for over 7 figures.
Teddy not only mentors entrepreneurs but is still involved in the hands on areas of the companies that he built. His continues as a licensed PI, a firearms instructor and does celebrity executive protection / bodyguard details.
